POLICIES & TERMS OF USE
The below policies & Terms of Use apply to WinslowSheds.com and/or Winslow Store LLC
WARRANTY: Warranty for defects in workmanship only
RETURNS: 30 Day Return Policy. Customer is responsible for paying the full return hauling cost of shed back to Winslow Sheds, plus a 15% restocking & handling fee, plus for any damage that may have occurred to the shed from drop off at customer site to drop off at Winslow Sheds. Once shed is back on Winslow Shed’s lot, an evaluation will be completed. If damage, customer will be notified of the cost to repair. Within 30 days of shed being return and customer accepting the cost to repair, if shed was damaged, funds paid less hauling cost, restocking & handling fees and any damage costs will be refunded.
Shed Construction: Construction of shed is made from fresh cut pines (like hemlock or larch). Therefore, shrinkage and warpage may/will occur over time since it’s a natural process of most all woods (kiln-dried or non-dried). Therefore, Winslow Sheds cannot be held responsible.
COD: If cash balance is due upon delivery and cash is not provided, shed will be returned to Winslow Sheds and ADDITIONS FEES/COSTS will incur and added to the balance due. (This cost may include but not limited to hauling charges, lot labor, etc.) Prior to a 2nd attempt, balance due will need to be paid in full in advance. Once shed is paid in full, shed will can be scheduled for delivery again. To avoid COD, Winslow Sheds recommends customer makes final payment (balance due) prior to delivery.
TAX NOTE: To avoid double taxation, No tax of any kind will be charged or collected for shed on skids sold by Winslow Sheds. Since, how customer uses or locates the shed is up to them, not determined by Winslow Sheds. Therefore, customers’ may be responsible for sales tax, usage tax and/or real estate tax or any other tax depending on how they use and/or their township/county/state laws. Customer to be fully responsible for paying any taxes accordingly to their respective tax collecting authorities. Winslow Sheds will not be held responsible for any tax due by the customer by any tax authority. Any and all taxes due will be the complete responsibility of the customer.
LEVEL PAD/SITE: Winslow Sheds will not be responsible for unlevel pad/site and/or shed placement on unlevel pad/site which may cause windows and/or doors to not operate as they should or shed twisting causing damage to roof and/or shed in general. Therefore, it is the customers’ full responsibility to make sure pad/site is level prior to shed being delivered and placement on pad/site. We only sell the sheds. We do not install the pads, prepare site or determine where shed is placed.
Web Site: WinslowSheds.com use is at users own risk. We can not control hackers access to our site or code changes they may make. The host company where our site is hosted does have some safe guards but we are not responsible for their upkeep or for how they run their business. We therefore are not responsible for any damage to you or your equipment, etc our web site may cause. Use of our site is at users own risk.
Rent-to-Own: We do not offer Rent-to-Own, Sorry. We do not like the companies that would be used to allow us to provide that service. Since their rates are crazy high and if a payment is missed crazy fees. We feel it’s more important to look out for our customers than to have that kind of sale. We would recommend a local bank, like in-first, and obtain a personal or home equity loan over those loan sharks.
Deposits: A deposit of 50% is required to place a custom order (cash or check) payable to Winslow Sheds
Final payment: CASH ONLY is due upon delivery unless Pre-Payment was made 10 days in advance of delivery.
Cancellations: No cancellations after shed building has started or stock shed in transit.
Quotes: Quote are only valid for two weeks from date on Quote. Plus, ALL entries, Prices, Miles, Totals, etc are subject to validation and acceptance by WinslowSheds.com
Delivery Location: Winslow Sheds assumes that when customer places an order, their delivery site/pad location, address, nearby streets and route will be able to fit our shed delivery truck and trailer with shed loaded. And that when shed is out for delivery, their site/pad is ready and is accessible.
If not, shed will be returned to the Winslow Sheds Punxsy lot and charged the extra hauling fee back to our lot; minimum $350 plus extra miles over 20. Customer will then be fully responsible for their own delivery and pickup from our store lot.
Therefore, if in doubt, please ask us first to help confirm. We will do our best but may not be aware of all situations. Therefore, you the customer knows your neighborhood better than us and need to take on that responsible.
